Learn advanced techniques to broaden your skills, aceiving impressive results to give you that extra edge. Professional stenciling techniques including layout, composition, proper brush loading, paint application and shading, working with multiple overlay bridgeless theorum stencils to achieve stunning images.

Free form, stacking, shading and free hand embellishments are taught. You will then work on a board, laying out a selected multi-part overlay stencil, and practicing stencil painting technique, shading and embellishment.

Students will also design and cut their own multiple overlay stencils to create a rondelle with 3-D effects using enhanced shading techniques. Render a trompe l’oeil rose urn using glazes; work on inlaid vines on a wooden board.
