We are pleased
to welcome Patrick back again to our studio for his seventh year.
He is the Senior Instructor at the Belgium Painting Craft Teachers
College, one of Europe's finest training facilities for artisans.
Patrick is well-respected among his European peers and his work
stands with the best craftsman and artists in the world
This is a concentrated week-long
class with detailed instruction and hands-on rendering of faux bois
and faux marbres with trompe l'oeil. Students will gain rare insight
into techniques developed and taught by Patrick using traditional
mediums and water-based acrylics in the rendering of authentic decorative
finishes. Instruction last year included rendering of book-matched
Cedar heart, Imperador , Yellow Sienna and an elaborate trompe l'oeil
ornamentation. Curriculum for 2006l included Trets Marble, Red Levanto,
Black Walnut and more. Come back later for more details and
